This summer my family took the chance to reconnect with nature. In planning the obligatory summer vacation, my spouse and i realized we were short promptly and funds. We decided that the trip to an in-state National Park would maximize our summer vacation experience and become cost effective. We visited both Sequoia and Kings Canyon Nature in California, and it was among the best experiences we could have had.
Our initial plan ended up being to rent a recreational vehicle to take towards the parks. But there were some maintenance difficulties with the RV we were going to gain access to, so we ended up staying at expensive hotels just a few miles outside of Sequoia National Park. Although it seems like it would be ideal to remain inside a National Park, I enjoyed staying outside the park. There was a lot to determine and do in the little town outside the National Park. The hotel appeared to be much less congested than the campgrounds inside the park. Also, there was a swimming pool at the hotel that my daughter needed to visit each evening after coming from the mountain.
Our first night we'd dinner just outside of the park, in a restaurant that was built next to a river. The restaurant was completely open, only floors and ceilings and something could see and hear the water rushing by. It had been romantic and the experience of having dinner outside, in high altitude, with the sound of the water washing within the rocks was exhilarating.
For lots of people, when they imagine a vacation to California, they think from the south, of Hollywood, from the beaches from Malibu to North park, and even when they think of history, whether that constitute the Gold Rush, or nature and nature, they think Yosemite, but for a vacation that mixes both the history of our natural wonders, nature, and California, there are many parks in central and northern California that should be on your itinerary, a couple of which have to do with a whole lot of giant trees, the northern California site of Redwoods National Park, as well as the twinned central California national parks of Sequoia and Kings Grand Canyon National Park, near the doorsteps of Yosemite.
